Our History

Eats & Sweets was born in 1999, when we purchased a used beverage trailer. It included 2 crepe machines. A good friend offered his family's crepe recipe from Europe so we tried it and I was sold. Having never tasted a crepe before, I had no intent on selling, until then! For the next week my husband and I ate crepes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert until we decided what was worthy of our name to serve. This was a new concept on the streets, a natural for me to prepare and too diverse to deny as a product. A few years later a hometown PA. friend offered me the authentic Pennsylvania Dutch recipe for funnel cakes. Again, these irresistible treats were only found at State Fairs until they hit our windows. Fresh picked herbs & vegetables from our garden add that distinctive touch when preparing your favorite crêpe. This is what sets us apart from others, along with our passion for pleasing others who patronize us.

Specialties

We prepare breakfast, savory and sweet crepes, beignet and funnel cakes from basic natural ingredients and serve them to each customer freshly made per order; Vegetarian, Gluten Free, or Lactose Free. When you call to request our service we'll discuss options to diversify our offerings that might accommodate your individual event to the extent we are capable. Our service has broadened since Eats & Sweets inception at the turn of the Century to offer you our Food Truck, White Tent, Red Umbrella Food Cart or an indoor catering station.
